Browser-only calculations

IPv4 addresses, masks, prefixes and calculated results entered into deterministic calculators are processed in your browser. NetToolsmith does not intentionally send or persist those values.

Infrastructure data

Like most websites, the hosting platform may temporarily process request metadata such as the connecting IP address, timestamp, requested path and user agent for delivery, security and operational logs. Exact Hostinger controls and retention remain under verification; we do not make an absolute “no logs” claim.

Public-IP features

What's My IP observes the address used by your browser connection and returns it without application persistence. Opening “More info about you” displays a local browser snapshot: browser-reported language, time zone, screen and window size, cookie setting and user-agent information. The snapshot is not sent to an intelligence provider or saved by NetToolsmith.

Only when you select “Look up network details” does our server query the hosting DNS resolver for a reverse-DNS hostname. When IPinfo Lite is configured, that action also sends your public IP to IPinfo for ASN, network organization, estimated country and continent. We do not request city, coordinates, precise location or a device fingerprint. You can use the address tool without choosing this optional lookup.

Lookup addresses and results are not retained in application storage or analytics. They are processed transiently to answer the request. Our application does not log provider responses or lookup errors. Hosting, DNS and provider systems may separately process or retain operational data. See the IPinfo privacy policy. IPinfo processing may involve international transfers; its policy describes its practices. Provider retention and subprocessors remain part of our activation review.

Analytics

NetToolsmith has selected a small self-hosted Umami deployment. Analytics is disabled until that deployment and this policy are approved. Permitted events are enumerated interaction names such as tool opened, calculation succeeded, validation failed, copy used and disclosure opened.

Advertising and creator support

Advertising is disabled while NetToolsmith completes its Google AdSense review and consent setup. If enabled, the policy will identify Google and its advertising partners, the data and storage they use, consent choices and applicable retention information before an ad request is sent.

The optional “Buy me a coffee” link opens Buy Me a Coffee; “Support on Patreon” opens Patreon. These are separate external services. They and their payment providers process contributions, account, identity, tax and payment data under their own terms. NetToolsmith does not receive payment-card or PayPal credentials.

Prohibited analytics fields include raw IP addresses, entered addresses, masks, CIDRs, hostnames, results, URL fragments, clipboard contents and free-form input. Self-hosted records will use a documented deletion schedule rather than Umami’s indefinite default retention.

Service providers and retention

Hostinger provides hosting and the configured DNS resolver handles optional hostname queries. IPinfo Lite is the selected optional network-data provider, disabled until its account and server-side token are configured and reviewed. Self-hosted Umami/PostgreSQL remains planned, not active. Infrastructure retention settings still require confirmation.

Your choices

Deterministic tools work without an account. Browser controls may block analytics without blocking calculator functionality. For privacy questions or requests, email pradeep.ai.security@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or sensitive network inventories.
